Description
A lovely, mottled glaze example of 311/20 by Dumler Breiden of West Germany. The company was established in 1883 and closed in the 1990s.
A mid‑century ceramic piece by Dümler & Breiden, one of the leading West German makers known for their bold shapes and expressive glazes. Produced in the post‑war era, their work often features strong modelling paired with striking colour combinations, from textured matte finishes to vivid glossy tones. Each piece reflects the studio‑driven creativity that defined West German art pottery, with distinctive forms and glaze effects that vary from model to model. A characterful example of Dümler & Breiden’s craftsmanship and a classic piece of mid‑century European ceramics.
