Description
Designed by Jaroslav Jezek for Royal Dux. The white laying cat is a fabulous piece of mid-century art. Well-marked to the base.
A refined Royal Dux porcelain figure designed by Jaroslav Ježek, showing his signature modernist touch within the traditional Dux animal range. The white laying cat is modelled with smooth, flowing lines and a calm, poised expression, capturing Ježek’s talent for blending naturalism with gentle stylisation. The surface is clean and bright, and it carries the pink Royal Dux triangle mark.
Elegant, understated, and beautifully sculpted, it’s a desirable example of Ježek’s work for Royal Dux and a lovely addition to any collection of European art porcelain or mid‑century animal figures.
