James Plant Pottery Vase England
$145.00
These beautiful vases are widely identified as being made by the James Plant pottery in England; however, this has not been 100% confirmed. James Plant operated between 1920s – 1930s. I have seen a pair of these with silver caps hallmarked to 1918, so the mystery continues. No. 44 impressed to the base.
Origin: Stoke on Trent.
Period: Unknown.
Condition: This vase has no chips or cracks; it does have age crazing over the entire piece.

A hand‑crafted vase by James Plant, showing the bold modelling and rich glazes associated with his studio pottery. Plant’s work often features strong, sculptural forms paired with deep, expressive colour, giving each piece a distinctive presence. made in the early 20th century, his vases reflect the individuality of studio production, with subtle variations in glaze flow and surface texture. A characterful example of British studio pottery and an appealing addition to any collection of mid‑century ceramics.
