Description
A lovely Beswick figurine of a spaniel dog No.454 in teal blue colourway. The designer was Miss Greaves.
Beswick’s Spaniel No. 454 is a charming seated study of the breed, modelled with soft feathering around the ears, chest, and tail to capture the gentle character of a spaniel. This example comes in the striking Teal Blue colourway, a later decorative finish that gives the classic form a fresh, contemporary look while still retaining the warmth and personality of the original sculpt.
Collectors appreciate this variant for its unusual palette, which highlights the moulded detail and adds a touch of modern flair to a traditional Beswick favourite. It displays beautifully as a standalone piece or as a distinctive accent within a wider Beswick animal collection.
