A soft opulent opal surrounded by 20 diamonds set in 9ct yellow and white gold. 1 Oval cabochon cut solid white based opal with colour-play of orange, purple, green and yellow colour flash in that order of dominance in a small pinpoint pattern of moderate brilliance. The crown surface is lightly abraded.
The opal is of upper good grade. Measures 15.00x14mm W x360mm depth = approximately 4.28ct. 20 diamonds Early round brilliant cut: 5 measure 1.70mm diameter = 0.02ct approximately each. Early Single & European Cut: 14 @ 1.7mm diameter = 0.02ct approximately each Clarity SI1-13 Colour F-J Total diamond weight approximately 0.40ct Manufacture: Fully hand crafted, 1930 + circa Metal: Tested as 9ct yellow and white gold.
